Since each person's situation is unique, we suggest that you contact us to learn more, ask questions, and discuss whether joining the Village Network would make sense for you. You can also attend one of our monthly Village Welcome meetings to learn more (see calendar).

  1. You call us at (707) 776-6055 and we can talk about memberships over the phone, let you know when the next Village welcome meetings will be held, and/or arrange a meeting to talk in person if you are interested.
  2. Email us at and request a brochure. Then let us know if you would like to be contacted to discuss membership options in person.

Memberships can be paid month to month, quarterly, or annual basis. Paying for your annual  membership in full offers a $25/year discount.

Membership options:

The Village Network of Petaluma is open to all residents of Petaluma and Penngrove who are 50 or older. The annual dues are $635 for individuals and $935 for households of two or more. Fees for quarterly and monthly payments by credit card are slightly higher. Members commit for a year, which helps us build a thriving and sustainable organization. Memberships can be paid in the Village Network office or in an interview in your home.

Individual Membership
  • Monthly:$55
  • Annually: $635 (if annual membership pre-paid)
Household Membership
  • Monthly: $80
  • Annually:$935 (if annual membership pre-paid)

Social Membership

Social memberships are for those who want to demonstrate their support for the Village Network, and take advantage of social activities and programs, as well as referrals to screened providers, but do not intend to ask for services. Annual dues are the same as regular memberships. However, all but $50 of the annual dues may be listed as a charitable contribution on federal income tax forms, in accordance with IRS regulations.

If a member should determine that services are in fact required during the course of a calendar year when in the social category, membership may be converted on a prorated basis, as of the date of conversion, with a donation letter provided at the end of the year for the earlier portion.
